About Your Character
Name:
Cassidy Annelise Jacks
Age/Grade:
17/Senior
Gender:
Female
Birthdate:
October 13, 1989
Canon or Original?:
Original Character.
Cause mine are taken. -sends evil glares-
I mean. I love you all<333
Appearance:
Cassidy Jacks, how does one describe her?
Auburn curls that have begun to take on more of a darker reddish tint as she's gotten older, as well as taking on more of a wave then the curls she used to adore. It was a fair sacrifice though, loosing the curls she'd thought to make her so unique, it no longer took her hours to brush her hair, and in the morning it no longer resembled the tangled mass of a rats nest perched carelessly atop her head. The colour is a bit novel, as the dominant hair colour is red it tends to hide during the winter months, taking on more of a dirty strawberry blonde, whereas in the summer it is much more of a red colour. Her eyes aren't nearly as interesting as her hair, they're blue, not a dazzling blue, not stunning, just an average blue for an average girl. Like most redheads you'll come across, her skin is pale, decorated in freckles, and denying the fact that it should tan. She swore she'd been the same colour her entire life, just more freckles the further that time went. She frequently has to put on sunscreen to avoid burning, and even though it pains her to not be with a crowd she sometimes tends to hide under the shade of a neighbouring tree.
Cassidy stands at about 5'7, almost 5'8 no where on the short side, but she isn't the tallest of the bunch, maybe just a smidge above average. Now at seventeen, the young woman has definitely begun to take advantage of the curves that she has been blessed with. She has worked hard at keeping her figure in its hourglass shape, eating properly and exercising quite a bit. Of course, she's always played sports, something that came from having four brothers and no mother. At least she's slid out of the tomboy phase she had as a younger girl.
Height:
5'7
Weight:
125
Eye color:
Blue
Hair color:
Dark Strawberry Blonde
Personality:
Cassidy Jacks, what would you say about her?
Well, I suppose that one can say that she is normally a fairly cheerful person, well most of the time. She does tend to give into her emotions, though normally only around her close friends, to people she doesn't know she's either a complete and utter bitch or there is a smile on her face. Some days she'll simply sit in her room hiding behind a book, not turning a page and letting tears slide down her face. She lets her feelings control her, and sometimes she can be very hurt by them.
But on any other day she is simply Cassidy, a fun loving girl who can come across as just a bit insane. (Okay, well a bit more then that. She likes to have fun. And hyperness is not a bad thing) But that’s what most of her friends like about her, how they can trust her and how she can make them smile.
At times- well let’s just say she enjoys mischief, jokes and pranks as much as the next person, as long as they aren't being pulled on her. Around her friends she always seems to have a mischievous twinkle in her eyes that says, 'I'm plotting something, oh and I forgot to say, it's about you.' She enjoys having a busy schedule, with less time to remember the mistakes she's made and to simply focus on the now. She loves to party, and she's all for any party for any reason.
She's a bit of a determined person though.
If she sees something she wants, and I mean /really/ wants, she'll do everything in her power to get it. And she's well on her way to racking up quite a bit of power.
Too people that aren't her friends, she can appear very stubborn, if you don't agree with her it's your problem, her motto goes along the lines of, 'If I agree with you, then we'd both be wrong.' Capiche? She is very fiery and she will stand up for her friends and what she believes in, she doesn't like when something doesn't go her way and if she is up to it she will fight against it, and most of the time she can find a way to get what she wants. She can seem very defiant and won't follow the rules just because they're rules. Her friends are very important to her, and she would do anything for them. Even if it means stepping into the line of for them, she isn't the kind of person who would go down without a fight though.
Want a simplified version? She's Cassidy.
History:
Cassidy Jacks is the youngest of five, and sometimes thats good, other times its bad. Of course, growing up with four older brothers and no mother made for an interesting childhood. Especially when they blamed her for her mother's death, wasn't her fault her mother died in childbirth now was it? Of course not. Her father an ex-soccer coach and her brothers all avid sport players had a bit of an affect on her. She was always with them playing soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and whatever sport they invented in their boredom.
When she was seven Thomas was getting older though, and had plenty of friends, soon not wanting anyone to know his sister existed. Jason and Jeffrey followed, and Daniel who always did everything his brother's did followed soon after.
Cassidy was left to find games for herself. Being the youngest in their neighbourhood didn't leave much room for people to play with either. So she retreated inside, constantly reading, and watching the musicals her father had bought for her. It always amused her how everything could be played out through thought. And she had always loved to sing, she'd got the lead in her classes play. Though it was probably because she was the only one who didn't mumble the words.
Though by the time she was nine she knew the words to every musical they owned, she couldn't read music though, but the ear she had for it was pretty good. Still being somewhat shunned by her brothers, the nine year old took her bike into town. The dance studio on the corner had caught her attention and she'd gone in and asked about it. She'd seen some of the other girls, and it looked like it would be a good time.
Two weeks later she had started dance classes, and was happier then she had ever been. She could have cared less if her brothers noticed her now. And so, three days a week Cassidy would make her way into town and attend a two hour dance class. Of course when she was ten her brothers knew she existed, but they would have had much more fun following her around and playing pranks.
And so, one day in May when Cassidy was going to class her brother's followed. Nothing happened on the walk though they followed her into the dance studio, lingering to the sides. Of course, boys will be boys and a lot of older girls were in her class. And when Miss Fairmont her instructor asked if they wanted to join, two new additions were made to the class. The twins had wanted to join, and Daniel would have too, if Thomas hadn't said it was stupid.
Cassidy liked being reconnected to her brothers though, and soon they were taking classes with her, and she was back playing sports with them on the weekends. Though the summer before she was to start Highschool her father had a job transfer, and the family up and moved. A new school with people she didn't know was none to enjoyable. Nor was the fact that she couldn't find a dance studio. It was Thomas who told her about the school Musical though, which was quite odd since he considered her as the reason his younger brothers were insane.
But a world of Musical Theater was quite enjoyed by her. She snagged the lead in the play, one of the youngest to get a lead in a school wide play. And she loved it.
One by one her brothers graduated and moved away, loosing Jason and Jeffrey was the hardest, they'd been the closest to her. But she continued on. And then in the middle of her grade eleven year, her father told her they'd be moving again, during the summer. A good coaching job had come up for him.
She accepted it. There'd be school plays elsewhere right? And if she had to she could fall back on her sports.
After all, a new school for her senior year wouldn't be that hard to live with. Something new to conquer, right?
